Relay Express, a 24/7 industry leader in logistics & transportation has immediate openings for three Universal Fleet Dispatchers at its corporate headquarters located in Fairfield, Ohio. With physical locations in 7 cities, customers all over the mid-west and exponential growth, Relay Express is introducing a new concept on staffing in an effort to add talented, flexible and determined team members into the pipeline. Each candidate will undergo a 90-day training regimen offering exposure to all fleets. At the conclusion of the training class, scheduled hours will vary. Relay Express has made a commitment to its employees, independent contractors and customers to be the most valuable and professional same-day delivery service in the market. Ideal candidate will: * Have the ability to work flexible shifts that may include first shift one week, and possibly third shift the next * Have previous experience as a Fleet Dispatcher working with multiple drivers and customers * Have previous experience in logistics, expediting or truck load delivery * Have the ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs * Demonstrate a superior knowledge of the Midwest geographic region * Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills * Feel comfortable making decisions and working in an environment with minimal supervision * Be well versed in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Requirements: * Dispatch multiple fleets in multiple cities, communicating all customer requirements * Communicate with drivers to ensure on-time delivery * Work with Customer Service to update customers on all issues or delays * Order Entry & Customer Service * Complete customer required reports and inventories as requested * Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with customers and drivers * Ability to work in a fast paced environment Office Location: Fairfield, Ohio Position: Universal Fleet Dispatcher Supervisor: Operations Manager Hours: Varying shifts depending on business needs, with some Saturday and Holiday coverage expected throughout the year. Hourly Rate: $14.00-$20.00 per hour, based upon salary history and experience. Medical Coverage: After 90-days. Premiums paid at 95%. Simple IRA with Company Match: After 90-days.
